الوصف الوظيفي
1- Evaluates possible geopolitical risks to the clients, perhaps a nation state, attempting to predict the path that offers the greatest reward versus risk.
2- De-construct and analyze the social and political conditions of a country or area, subsequently and forward that analysis to the decision makers who act according to the data laid out in the briefing.
3- Helping clients from the private or public sector who get engaged in foreign countries. The problem to be solved usually derives from uncertainty regarding the political forces in a target country, who might pose a threat to the success of a business investment or a political strategy, depending on whether the client is a corporation, social organization or government.
4- Assist client in uncovering process risk. Based on the academic training as a political scientist or economist with a profound knowledge of a country or region,5-
5- Concerned with the macro perspective looking at the general attributes and variables of the political environment in a target country.
6- Micro perspective pursuing a qualitative approach towards exploring the interactions between powerful individuals and groups in a target country.
7- Analyzing to what extent a specific power structure poses political risks for a project in foreign country, demands a lot of effort
8- To serve the client – usually business corporations, but also governments, international or non-governmental organizations – with country and regional expertise at the intersection of political science, economics and international law.
9- Providing useful insights into future developments of the political environment concerned, which are as plausible and accurate as possible
10- Examine the political climate and social conditions of a country, region, or market to determine the level of political risk.

المهارات
Required Education
While a bachelor’s degree is needed for this career, a degree in international relations, business, law, or finance. Internship experience would be beneficial.

Skills
Must analyze complex problems.
Can communicate with excellence, through listening, speaking and writing, and to persuade.
Excellent analytical abilities. Such as analyzing a country for investment purposes and interpret your findings.
strong communication skills to develop a relationship with clients and gain support for your recommendation.
Financial acumen, as you will be analyzing a country’s currency, market conditions, and other financial data in your decision-making process.
Provide information pertaining to government stability, crime levels, currency convertibility, land rights issues, as well as other factors that would affect return on investment. Typically, analysts gather information pertaining to the area of interest.
Determine the causes, sources, and level of risk, and forward their findings to decision-makers. They also may provide solutions or offer recommendations for overcoming these risks.
