In this role, the Ecommerce / Digital Marketing Manager will develop and lead the Digital Marketing Team for all Digital Platforms (Website development, SEO/PPC, Social Media Strategy, Online Campaigns, App Development, e-Commerce, etc.) across the business in order to maximize the sales and profitability of Brand’s Product Portfolio.
As Ecommerce / Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:
Digital Marketing
• Implements a strategic digital marketing plan, including both acquisition and retention activity.
• Leads the development & integration of new digitally-centric “Data Driven Marketing” model for business
• Contributes to development of the best media plans aligned with business goals and brand/products objectives; focus on online and social media.
• Coordinate the creation and scheduling of digital advertising, including the formulation of audience targeting strategies, linking strategies, and tracking and measurement for each campaign.
• Develops and manages digital media campaigns to support brand-building, acquisition and cross-sell goals, leveraging all channels through digital technology.
• Reports digital marketing results regularly and provide recommendation to leadership and key stakeholders
• Plans, runs and optimize campaigns across multiple online channels to improve performance, reach, and return on investment of digital marketing activities.
• Uses digital acumen to influence effectively across the organization to shape the digital strategy and vision for the business including next generation products.
• Leverages knowledge of all digital platforms in conjunction with a vast marketing proficiency to deliver against both the short-term and long-term objectives of the business.
• Promotes digital marketing through participation in department educational training.
• Explores new innovations in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively engage consumers and deliver against brand communication and business objectives.
• Partners with business’s brand team to develop creative plans ensuring brand consistency while optimizing performance.
• Manages budgets and timelines for digital media programs and prepare forecasts for future releases.
• Acts as the key point person with external agencies handling briefs, plans and strategies.
E-Commerce
• Builds the e-Commerce brand strategy plan with the Brand leaders and concerned departments.
• Supervise the operational application and overall alignment on site messaging and communication with customers for a consistent Brand image.
• Participates in strategic meetings with suppliers, regional and countries teams to negotiate commercial conditions.
• Builds the e-Commerce budgets with the Brand Managers and the financial team, ensuring effective use of budgets within allocated funding.
• Controls and follow up the supply processes (Quantity, Quality, and Deadline).
• Supervises and ensure the efficiency of logistics processes in coordination with the Supply Chain & Logistics.
• Sets KPIs for the e-Commerce team and control their achievements.
• Ensures a seamless information flow within and between the teams and a global awareness of the e-Commerce business.
• Ensures the technical operability & optimization of the website in coordination with IT.
• Ensures constant update of new technologies and strategies to ensure the Brand remains at the forefront of online players.
• Keeps challenging the current organization and processes with benchmarks and explore new opportunities to implement.
• Builds e-Commerce overview reports and the strategic recommendations associated.
• Records, monitors and analyzes market trends, competitor activities and provides suggested action plans.
• Other duties may be assigned
Communication & Working Relationships:
• Reporting to: Executive Director – Marketing
• Internal: Liaising with all departments and cross functional teams.
• External: Liaising External Agencies, Consultants, Technology Companies and Service Providers
المهارات
Qualification, Skills and Experience:
• At least 8 years of all-encompassing digital and ecommerce exposure.
• FMCG and/or Retail experience is a must
• Fluency in Arabic and English languages is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Digital Marketing or relevant discipline
• Knowledgeable in managing Corporate Websites, Social Media programs, e-newsletters, and Search Engines Analysis.
• Knowledge of all current and future trends in digital marketing and communications platforms and applications.
• Knowledge of digital design, programming, e-Commerce and web development practices
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Result oriented and Flexibility to adapt
• Good Collaboration and Communication Skills, ability to build cross-functional relations.
• Deep understanding and insights into the Middle East digital consumer base.
• Ability to think strategically, strong marketing competencies (including Marketing Behavior, Consumer and Customer Focus, Commercial mindset).
