Responsible for ensure that Payroll module of the FMIS System (Oracle Release 12.1.3 Application) are running smoothly, by addressing all incidents, changes and problems.
Recording and performing any required housekeeping activities and monitoring for the relevant modules of the FMIS System. He will provide Applications Support in line with the agreed SLA with the Business and work towards Continuous Improvement to the services Financial Operations offers. Help the Business users with the applications and provide training where appropriate
1. Lead & Manage the Payroll team
2. Lead the various implementation and rollout initiatives in the Payroll domain
3. Review, analyse and managing the Support Requests for the Business Applications relevant to the domain.
4. Resolve incidents and problems for the Business Applications. This may include escalation to other IT teams, or Third Party Vendors for the resolution.
5. Submission, implementation and management of Request for change to Business Applications. These changes will arise from customer demand, or technical demands.
6. Ensure the application testing prior to requesting the business to test changes
7. Ensure the housekeeping and monitoring of Business Applications
8. Keeping up to date in the latest technology advancements and forum reported issues for the Business Applications
9. To Ensure the Appropriate Change Approval for the Change are in place and follow the Change Management Process while instituting the Changes.
10. Coordinate with the Business to support the Reporting requirements from the Business
11. Training and Development of the Applications on Need and Demand Basis
12. To facilitate the Rollouts
13. Provide the extended Support and Assistance to the Business on the Requirement basis in the domain area
المهارات
Bachelor’s /Master’s Degree / Relevant Educational certifications
1. 8+ Years’ experience in the implementation and support of Oracle Payroll domain and should be a subject matter expert in the Payroll and HR Modules.
2. Payroll Domain experience in a Government or Semi Government Payroll is desired
3. Expereince in working in and ITSM environment. Well versed with the Incidient, Change Management, Release Management and Problem management processes
4. Good Understanding of the Application service management from Business Applications Perspective and Experience in managing the and coordinating with the Functional and Technical Consultants.
5. Ability to develop, coach, lead and Motivate the team of functional and technical consultant
6. Good Experience in Documentation and training content development.
7. Good Knowledge of Payroll and Core HR modules. Knowledge of the other HR modules like i-Recruitment, OLM, PMS Succession Planning etc will be an added adventage.
8. Experience in dealing with user issues, and can provide one to one End User Training
9. Experience in executing the Application Rollouts and continuous service improvements initiatives, Projects, Updating application support documentation.
10. Good problem solving skills, and analytical approach to finding and resolving production issues.
11. Experience in handling the Customer Supports
12. Experience in handling the Technical Supports from Vendors
1. Advanced user of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project) and MS SharePoint
2. General skills in using tools Like Toad, Sql Etc.
3. Having knowledge of Training Software like UPK will be an added advantage.
4. Having experience in using the helpdesk software
5. Have knowledge of reporting Tools, like Discoverer, Cognos, OBIA
