الوصف الوظيفي
Dental nurse do assessment of overall status of the patient. Including the taking of vital signs and other important matter such as CBG before any procedure.
 Dental nurse do complete medical history of the client. Including the past and the present health status.
 Dental nurse do complete stocks inventory and arrange it accordingly.
 Dental nurse assist dentist in the dental room in performing different procedures.
 Dental nurse knows how to mix materials needed by the dentist.
 Dental nurse knows common instruments, apparatus and machines use in a dental field.
 Dental nurse maintained the cleanliness of the clinic. These include the proper garbage’s disposal.
 Dental nurse knows how to disinfect objects, apparatus, machines, dental field, dental chair etc. that needed to disinfect before to keep or use to another patient.
 Dental nurse do proper sterilization of non-disposable items.
 Dental nurse knows the SOP regarding the testing of machines in dental clinic. These include ultrasonic bath and autoclave.
 Dental nurse do weekly or monthly inventory of stocks to know what will be expire, what is / are missing and to know what stock should be order again.
 Dental nurse make sure that all controlled drugs using in dental procedure are properly secured and monitored.
 Dental nurse make sure that all first aid kits are available all the time. These includes oxygen with oxygen cannula or face mask amalgam spillage kit, amalgam safe container etc.
 Dental nurse do proper documentation of all necessary data.
 Dental nurse make sure the good flow of dental clinic appointments.
 Dental nurse knows what things to be priorities.
 Dental nurse attend seminar for continuing professional education.
