1. Job Purpose:
Provides Technical Support to site operations on all matters related to the utilization and
maintenance of SCADA/DCS/ESD/F&G;systems. Ensures effective operations of the above
systems and associated peripheral equipment within production plant including process controland monitoring systems. Monitors any changes made to system database, graphic, logs etc.

2. Principal Accountabilities
 Develops and implements software changes for process control and monitoring systems
including PLC. Acts as a focal point at site for all matters related to SCADA/DCS/ESD/F&G;systems and interact with Technical Support team, Projects Team (Major projects/Brown
field), Discipline Engineering Team to provide expert technical advice to all matters related
to projects.
 Ensures effective operations of SCADA/DCS/ESD/F&G;systems and associated peripheral
equipment within Production Plant and wellhead towers including Process control and
monitoring systems.
 Carries out all MAXIMO maintenance work order activities such as: creating work request &
work order, ordering materials, scheduling and completing the work orders as and when
completed. Ensures that all work orders backlogs were cleared periodically in order to
maintain the KPI targets. Ensures sufficient spare parts availability.
 Ensures efficient repairs and maintenance of such equipments. Monitors and controls any
changes made to system database, graphic, logs etc.
 Ensures proper documentation and records including changes to hardware, graphic data
and software.
 Participates in the investigation of the technical aspects related to instrument and control
systems according to ADMA approved guidelines or general project requirements. This
includes participating in studying various technical problems related to instrument and
control systems, or as an individual contributor. Provides expert technical advice as and
when requested.
 Directs and participates in the evaluation of modification requests involving a wide variety
of process control and plant safety instrumentation. Liaises with TSD, directs the gathering,
research and analyses of relevant data to verify validity and feasibility of the modification
request.
 Develops and implements software changes for process control and monitoring systems
performance including all PLC and microprocessor systems such as SCADA, DCS
Systems ESD and F&G;etc.
 Maintains and applies latest international standards and codes for instrumentation to
ensure that ADMA’s standards are updated and that the most appropriate instruments and
materials are used. This includes researching new equipment and techniques in the area
of process control, and instrumentation assessing their suitability for integration into the
company’s facilities based on the criteria of increased life and safety of plant, increased
reliability of operation and reduced operating costs.

Principal Accountabilities (continued):
 Participates in the installation, testing and start-up of newly acquired computer based process control and monitoring system such as SCADA, DCS, F&G;, ESD, etc.
 Plans and participates in the ongoing training & development of assigned UAE national employees. Adhere strictly to the company’s HSE policy, procedures regulations and objectives.

4. Communication & Organizational Relationships:
 Daily contacts with control room personnel up to TL level to assist in the interpretation of messages, alarms control transactions etc.
 Frequent contacts with electronics specialist and instrument supervisors to exchange views on development and maintenance of equipment.
 Frequent Contacts with TSD and Projects Team for project related issues. Completed work is subjected to moderate supervision.

المهارات
Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
 Bachelor Degree relevant Electronics/Computer/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
 5-6 years experience in the repair, maintenance and operation of computer based process control and Safety Insturmented Systems(SIS),Experience with Control system software for process control , SIS and HMIs ( human machine Interfaces) Good knowledge of English.
