LM Internal Job DescriptionParticipates in a structured cooperative educational/work program between the company and a college/university, and enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to skills required by the company. Performs assigned tasks in administrative disciplines (e.g., Finance, Human Resources, Contracts, Production Planning, Facilities Administration).

Lockheed Martin’s International Corporate and Enterprise Business Services (EBS) units, consists of Business Development, IT Services, Payroll, ESH, HR and Finance functions that support the business across the whole of the EMEA region. With employees located throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East, LM Corporate and EBS provide EMEA wide support to all the LM International business areas.

Specific Job DescriptionThis summer internship position will support the development of communications plans for the Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation & Security Solutions (CISS), and other regional Lockheed Martin priorities, with focused interest in social media communications for Lockheed Martin Middle East. The intern will work closely with the Head of Communications for the region as well as US-based colleagues. The intern will report to the manager of the Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation & Security Solution, but will take daily tasking from Lockheed Martin head of Communications.

In this position, the intern will work with LM Communications to develop a detailed communications plan for CISS, support ongoing plans, and develop a comprehensive digital plan. The intern will also undergo a complete assessment and audit to gauge the effectiveness of current plans and provide recommendations to support ongoing growth opportunities.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
• Enrolled in a University in the UAE (or recently graduated) preferably in a field communications, marketing, journalism, business, economics, or engineering. Ability to work with Windows, Microsoft Office
• Native Arabic speaker required.
Excellent verbal and written skills in Arabic and English.• Ability to travel around the UAE, as required.
