Job Description
We are a multi-disciplinary healthcare consultant, out of the UK with an operational branch in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Amman, Jordan. The Company offers total solutions for the healthcare projects within the Middle East region. Over the last two decades, we had built sound relationships with selected clients and had been successful in delivering healthcare projects ranging from primary clinics, community hospitals, general and teaching hospitals, specialized medical centers, through to complete medical complexes and cities. The Company services range from programming, planning, full architectural and engineering designs, biomedical engineering to construction administration and project management.

Responsibilities :

We are looking for a hands-on Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing construction projects. You will be involved in various projects from new builds, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to meet and develop client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. A solid understanding of construction detailing and sequencing is a must, with a proven ability for task management and coordination within the design team.

• Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
• Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
• Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact
• Produce detailed plans and working details as required to tender and construct
• Compile project specifications
• Keep within budgets and timelines
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
• Make on-site visits to check on project status and report on project
• Cooperate and liaise with the construction professionals
• Review contractor shop drawings and respond to RFI’s• Follow the latest architectural trends and advancements in construction technology

Skills
• 5 -10 years of proven working experience as an architect
• Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (ACAD, REVIT, Adobe Photoshop, 3d Studio VIZ etc.)
• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
• Visual awareness and an eye for detail• Communication and project management skills
