1. Ensure QC division performs its functions through:
a. Allocation of resources such as personnel and materials.
b. Delegating the activities to key personnel.
c. Attending to different issues concerning the performance of personnel.
d. Verifying the activities conforms to set standards, i.e. ACI, ASTM, BSI, and local regulations.
2. Coordinate and evaluate customer requirements by:
a. Developing concrete mix design suited to customer needs based on international and local standards.
b. Preparing full technical concrete submittal based on the request of Sales & Marketing.
c. Preparing price control (Summary of Concrete’s Specifications) for submission to prospective clients.
d. Supervising, conducting and evaluating trial mixes (laboratory and plant).
e. Reviewing test results prior to submittal to customers.
3. Enhance the competencies of subordinates through:
a. Development of training needs analysis.
b. Conduct of training, orientation, lectures and seminars necessary in performing tasks.
c. Coaching and mentoring.
d. Performance evaluation every 6 months.
4. Improve customer satisfaction by:
a. Attending to complaints.
b. Developing measures to address complaints.
c. Collaborating with consultants and contractors in developing better quality concrete.
5. Adhere to the Quality Management System through:
a. Update of work instructions and forms.
b. Review of relevant procedures, instructions and records.
c. Ensure that equipment and apparatus are maintained and calibrated.
d. Participation in system audits.
6. Performs special tasks such as:
a. Coordination with 3rd party laboratories on submission of test samples and evaluation of results.
b. Liaising with government agencies concerning quality matters related to the manufacture of concrete.
