Supply chain specialist and logistics

Job Description
This position interacts closely with Scheduling, Sales, and Production to effectively meet and support our projects deadline’s schedule.
Will be responsible for shipping (sending & receiving material), tracking inbound and outbound material, import and export compliance, inventory control.
Purchasing
Receives and prepares invoices from suppliers and ensures they are paid in timely fashion based on established criteria.
Maintains an accurate and up-to-date supplier information database for regularly purchased items, and stays up-to-date of local market conditions & trends.
Prepares and processes Requisition Orders, Purchase Orders and contracts.
Prepare reports concerning supply chain operations.
Register all documents and handle customers and suppliers databases.
Ensure compliance with supply chain activities standards and regulations.
Logistics
Perform research activities in order to identify new solutions for logistical challenges.
Ensures that goods are shipped to and from manufacture place through quickest routes and cost effectively.
Maintains and updates shipment files and register.
Maintains and develops sound processes for transportation of goods.
Supports domestic and international cargo shipments for routine and emergency operations by, road, rail, sea and air including chartered flights.
Prepare shipping documentation.
Make sure goods reach the correct destination.
Ensure products movement from suppliers to our warehouse or project sites.

Report:
Purchase Order Report.
Logistical report.

Job Requirements:

Must:
Bachelor’s Degree at least.
Fluent in English
Exceptional communication skills including mail writing
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree IS , IT , computer science or Engineering
1-2 years experience in same field.
Proficient with Macintosh
