Plant Manager

Duties and responsibilities

- Maintaining the equipment during storage and usage, ensuring the readiness of the use of the equipment, following up maintenance of equipment and operation.

- Directing and implementing all plant budgets, coordinating with appropriate departments, to ensure cost-effective resource planning and maintenance.

- Directing all equipment repairs & monitor conditions of all equipment and spare parts in order to supply recommendations and manage retrieval of necessary spare parts from both local & international sources.

- Managing health, safety, and environmental areas to ensure that the plant facilities operate in compliance with regulations at all levels.

- Preparing schedules, operating plans and maintaining production and inventory reports to ensure all manpower, tasking, and equipment and spare parts are overseen and organized efficiently.

- Overseeing and directing all plant reports, equipment documentation and audit tasks in order to provide accessible information where required.
- Drawing up a daily and monthly production schedule.
Analyzing and resolving work employee problems.
- Monitoring trends in breakdowns and Sets targets to meet production expectations, minimize down time and maintain high standards in operation and productivity.

- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Effectiveness in leadership skills, Strong organizational skills, problem solving and decision making.
- Knowledge of ISO procedures and policies, excellent knowledge of Health and Safety issues and their application

-Familiarity with the harsh industrial environment, ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
