Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local electrical codes as applies to industrial plant operations; general knowledge of methods for fabrication or modification of new or existing equipment; general knowledge of press machine functions; general knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems; skill in welding and the use of a cutting torch; skill in the use and care of tools of the trade; ability to read and understand electrical and electronic test equipment; ability to read and understand mechanical assembly and layout drawings; ability to work overtime hours as needed, and accept night and weekend call - in for emergency work; ability to follow oral and written directions.
The successful candidate for this position must be self-motivated and organized; possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a demonstrated track record of successfully applying those skills on the job. Manufacturing experience desired. Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or GED and successfully complete background check and drug screen. Electrical License and relevant education preferred.
