The English Language Instructor position is responsible for teaching English to adults at various levels (elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate and advanced). Apart from teaching hours, instructors are expected to prepare lessons, exams and attend instructors’ meetings.
The ideal instructor should be someone with the following requirements & specifications:
1. Must be a fluent English speaker. TESL / TEFL / CELTA certification is an asset;
2. Relevant college degree, or teacher training or presvious experience;
3. Excellent English communication and presentation skills;
4. Enthusiastic, committed, and a team player.
Tasks and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
1. Design supplementary materials;
2. Arrive early and start teaching the class on time;
3. Follow the designed syllabus for the course;
4. Provide feedback to supervisors as necessary;
5. Correct homework, quizzes and all assignments;
6. Assist in activities designed for student development.
