Summary
The HRMS Specialist will be responsible for day to day support of the HRMS system to include; Data Entry
and new account set ups, data migration, upgrades, software implementations, data gathering and report
writing. The HRMS Specialist will work with other team members to analyze practices and procedures to
drive continual process
improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintains HRMS system to include; assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system
upgrades or patches, collaborating with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of
upgrades or fixes, and maintenance of HRMS system tables
• Researches and resolves HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws
• Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
• Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
• Create, maintain and support HR Actions interface with HRMS system
• Create, maintain and support Employee Self Service interface with HRMS system
• Create, maintain and support Cyber Recruiter interface with HRMS system
• Facilitate data transfers and maintain interfaces between HRMS and other systems and processes
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of all applicant and employee information
• Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation
• Train systems and end users on new processes/functionality of all HR software to include: Cyber
Recruiter, HR Actions and Employee Self‐Serve
• Assist with Inputting, updating, analyzing and maintaining accurate data for all new hires, transfers,
terminations, pay location changes, salary changes, address changes, etc. to meet department needs
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same
to meet regulatory standards
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have experience and sound working knowledge of computer programs. Strong understanding of
HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools. Must
have report development experience with reporting tools including SQL, Crystal Reports, Access, Excel.
Must demonstrate proficiency in written and oral communication.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two‐year college or technical school
