Mobile Application Developer,

Responsibilities

Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to bring product ideas to life
Code applications with Java and Android SDK- code and troubleshoot the “core” frameworks, if needed
Participate in peer code reviews and scrums
Create applications that help positively impact the lives of customers around the world
Prototype new features

Requirements

3+ years of programming experience with Java, Objective-C, and/or C/C++ on both Android and IOS or equivalent cross-platform tools like (PhoneGap, Xamarin or equivalent)
Expert knowledge of optimizing code in terms of performance and size
Experience with Git, Github, or similar code repository tools
Skilled at debugging and profiling
3+ years of solid experience with the mobile app development with experience shipping applications to mobile app stores- experience with technical design including mobile application architectures, design patterns; strong understanding of object oriented design
Experience working with Google Maps API’s
Experience integrating applications with REST APIs
Experience with networking and messaging protocols
Experience plusses:
Android NDK a plus
Developing a mobile application on iOS
Digital healthcare applications
SQL and NoSQL
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience,
