A daily English news website is seeking a real-time editor in Egypt. The right candidate will have several years editing or reporting experience, excellent news judgment, a strong understanding of online readership, and a desire to tell the tumultuous story of Iraq across real-time platforms. The ideal candidate should have an ability to edit cleanly and present news in an engaging way and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in the Middle East. This is a 100% telecommute job that would involve weekend work from time to time.
