A big telecommunication company is looking for an IT-Security Operations Manager with at least 9 years of experience.
-Job Description:
•To provide security leadership and guidance in the area of infrastructure Security
•To handle operational responsibilities to administer, operate, and maintain various systems which monitor the security status of the environment
•To be responsible for maintaining and improving key elements of the infrastructure Security Program which includes but is not limited to supporting the department’s security strategy through the implementation of security tools, processes, and procedures as well as operating existing tools and controls
•To oversee the designing, testing, implementing and support for current and future security technologies.
•To ensure Security Compliance evaluation are up to standard levels and are in place.
•To assist with the complex environments. Identify and gather detailed security requirements within the project process.
•To develop and oversee security controls and applicability are in place and strictly followed.
•To identify potential risks to network and systems along with support mitigation of these risks to acceptable levels.
•To develop control requirements and ensure appropriate development and implementation of control activities.
•To provide security impact and expertise for projects.
•To develop, update and maintain network Security documentation.
•To support internal and third-party risk assessments.
•To serve as security advisor to network and System Engineers
•To perform advanced problem determination and timely resolution as well as make the decisions necessary to recover business systems in the event of an outage.
•To identify and ensure proactive security monitoring of systems to ensure minimal system downtime and failure.
•To define recovery procedures to support recovery efforts.
•To define system configuration settings required for system hardening and security.
•To plan and provide leadership on various engineering efforts.
•To assist in the mentoring and provide direction to Security team members.
•To demonstrate excellent interpersonal, technical, organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills
•To direct self and the activity of others during the design and implementation of security measures.
•To quickly grasp new technologies and security risks in addition to recognizing industry trends
•To prioritize and multitask in a fast paced, changing environment.
•To maintain professionalism when interacting with internal and external customers
•To self-motivate and self-direct
Qualifications Required:
•From 9 to 11 years of relevant work experience in telecom industry.
•Advanced management skills.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Obtaining relevant security certificates.
