An International company in Cairo needs the following position :
MAIN FUNCTIONS :
1. To gather reliable suppliers for mass manufacturing and the design of new products.
2. To procure all the direct material (metal, powder, components) and indirect materials (tools, spare parts, packing, pallets, consumables, furnitures…) for manufacturing
3. To negotiate and to evaluate the suppliers and the sub-contractors according to the existing and the new products.
4. To prospect new suppliers in order to reduce the costs, the time deliveries and the stock inventory while preserving the quality objectives of GPE
5. To follow-up the quality of the supplies along with the Quality department
6. To negotiate and to purchase all the new equipments and services for the company.
7. To participate to the budget for new opportunities of cost reduction and to implement.
DUTIES:
- To negotiate the contracts and agreements
- To procure the materials and all other “merchandises” according to the contracts and the agreements and the forecast production.
- To ensure that the suppliers are delivering according to the contracts and agreements
- To evaluate the suppliers
- To look for alternate suppliers
- To organize and to manage the purchasing department, and to motivate the personnel
- To audit the suppliers along with Quality
- To elaborate the budget and the actions plans to reduce the cost, the time delivery and the inventory
- To implement the actions plans
- To work and to implement the continuous improvement actions (purchasing, quality…)
- To work along with the other departments
- To resolve the suppliers issues along with Engineering, Production, Quality and Finances

Computer Skills : Ms office applications, internet,.
Type Writing Skills : Very Good
Translation : Very Good
Experience Years : Minimum 3 Years
Education / Degree Obtained : Bachelor Degree ( Engineering Is Preferable )
Working Hours : ( 8 am - To - 5 pm ) ( One Hour Break )
