Purchasing and Logistics Specialist

• Position: Purchasing and Logistics Specialist
• Provide all the requirements of the production sector of raw materials and accessories, from both Local and foreign markets at the best price and delivery time
• Receive the purchasing request from planning department specifying all requirements (description, quantity …Etc )
• Meet the order requirements and conditions and agree with suppliers on prices and delivery times as requested from planning with regard to quantity , quality , description …etc
• Arrange for shipping the ready & agreed goods upon in terms of quality and quantity
• Determine the shipping method based on the details of the shipment in terms of weight and volume, taking into consideration the production needs
• Download the shipping schedules monthly or bimonthly for all the country’s, specially Far East and Europe
• Compare between the shipping lines and companies to deal with the best
• Follow-up all shipping documents and review to make sure that matching with actual required goods ;to avoid any problems during the clearance process
• Complete all procedures and necessary forms for clearance process (stamping original documents from bank , transferring the invoices amounts …)
• Arrange with the warehouse before the arrival of the shipment
• Complete and update daily all reports which required to purchase and shipping
