The incumbent is responsible for planning and organizing of this section/department and responsible for providing the raw material required for the manufacturing or operating of the projects “according to the quality specifications/requirements”. The incumbent is also responsible for controlling the purchasing time and cost according to the company’s requirements considering best terms and stock availability.
Job tasks:
1. Building and developing the procurement department and the developing of procurement plans, policy and procedures.
2. Providing the needs of each project from raw material and consumables respecting the budget.
3. Constant search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operating.
4. Building, developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
5. To collect tender prices from suppliers, compare and choose the best.
6. Managing negotiations with suppliers regarding the quality of the product, prices, specifications, discounts, penalty clauses, returned goods, the delivery mechanism, payment method and duration ... etc. and signing contracts with them.
7. Reviewing suppliers’ offers and answering in the affirmative or negative vote.
8. Following the changes in the prices of raw material on daily basis.
9. Contacting with the requesting party of the goods and following up the supply operation. to ensure delivery of the goods/material required in a timely and appropriate manner.
10. Establishing an annual work for suppliers and their classification and extension of accreditation.
11. Permanent attention to health certificates of suppliers for raw material used in manufacturing.
12. All of the above takes into account with the local and foreign purchases.
13. Reporting to senior management in all the above tasks.
14. Keep the administration informed by any changes (building a database of suppliers, supplied material and presentations of the proposed prices...etc).
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Preferable Department of Mechanics).
2. Experience: minimum experience of 5-7 years in the same field.
3. Get accredited courses.

4. Capabilities in the drafting of contracts, business correspondences and concluding business deals.
