Job Summary
Our client, a Multinational Manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Business Assistant.
The Business Assistant provides reports and analytics as well as various administrative support to the Regional VP. The Business Assistant handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature; collects and prepares information for use in strategic, legal and commercial discussions (including business reports, financial reports, presentations, contracts, agreements etc.) and meetings of executive staff.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage the daily administration tasks, including calendar management, travel requirements, expense reporting and communications.
Act on the VP’s behalf in agreed areas; able to represent their decisions, steers and viewpoints in their absence.
Stakeholder management and engagement: courteous and strategic correspondence, information sharing, relationship building.
Preparation of technical reports and presentations aimed at directing the organisation towards its primary strategic objectives.
Assist with the collation of key information; support the successful delivery of business-critical internal and external events.
Identify improvement opportunities and generate solutions through the use of applicable business models and analytical tools, as well as supporting the preparation of business reports and presentations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration / Management or related qualifications) and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a management or senior level administration role. You must have expert level communication skills both written and verbal in English. Proven ability of strong organisation, time management, prioritisation and the ability to demonstrate good judgment in a variety of situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant business software.
