VAM Systems is currently looking for IBM WebSphere Portal Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill set required:
• 5+ years of proven experience in WebSphere Portal and Application Server Administration:
• WebSphere Portal Server 8 .0 or above; DB2 version 8.1 or higher; Linux Operating System.
• Experience supporting medium to large deployment environments is required.
• Experience with Linux, AIX, Solaris, and/or Windows Administration is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Graduation with computer specialization
Relevant Certification s will add value
Roles and Responsibility
• Perform WebSphere Portal Administration and configuration, clustering, performance tuning and day-to-day operations jobs
• Deploy portlets, themes, skins, pages, and portal applications.
• Configure & managing enterprise LDAP.
• Work closely with Portal developers, Technical Services, Database administrator to configure Portal server resources.
• Deploy code to UAT and Production.
• Create deployment scripts and manage deployments to all environments.
• Manage Portal and application security.
• Deploy fix packs; assist in upgrades among other administration tasks.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
