• Preparing an annual QSI plan which fulfils the responsibility of Quality Inspection, scheduling and assigning work to meet completion dates, and estimating resource needs.
• Confers with Company management and the acceptance group on policies, programmes,
and activities of the Quality inspection activities ; makes recommendations regarding specific areas of responsibility.
• Develops and updates QSI programmes and checklists , plans and monitors QSI work schedules; and develops and recommends implementation of forms, systems, and procedures to carry out responsibilities and accomplish goals of the QSI
• Ensures that QSI principles and policies are followed, and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of QSI procedures and operating systems and controls.
• Meets with Company management at all levels and the Acceptance PM as necessary, to discuss QSI plans and results and make recommendations to resolve QSI findings requiring corrective action
• Review current work Processes , practices, resources and tools
• Plan QSI on Sites during PAT
• Prepare QSI check list
• Conduct QSI
• Prepare QSI reports
• Identify QSI Findings
• Add findings to OIL list
• Propose Corrective & Preventive Action
• Follow up with acceptance PM for handling Corrective & Preventive Action till clear it within 90 days
• Identifies and analyses causes of uneconomic and inefficient practices in assigned areas
of responsibility. Assesses alternatives, which might yield desired results.
• Assures follow up of QSI findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of correction.
• Presents findings and recommendations concerning activities quality inspection to the directors and GM
