Hiring Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Ensure timely bank payments and receipts.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Responsible for day-to-day accounting such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, General Ledger, FA, and MIS reporting.
• Handle petty cash, and prepare invoices and receipts.
• Prepare cheques and bank transfers along with supplier statements and reconciliation.
• Able to perform salary-related work like payroll (WPS).
• Prepare reconciliations of the Bank statement.
• Continuously follow up with clients for all receivables and prepare the receivable report weekly to track outstanding payments.
• Process payments accurately and promptly, verifying invoices and obtaining necessary authorizations.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, and inventory, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Provide support for audits and assist with the development of internal controls.
• Any other job/responsibilities allocated by Management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Axolon and SAP).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
